Abbeywood Cheshire // Aoife & Andy

You all know that Abbeywood Estate is one of my all-time favourite wedding venues, nestled in the Cheshire countryside with picture perfect gardens full of gorgeous blooms I’m always up for shooting at Abbeywood.  These two are also one of my all-time favourite couples! Look how effortlessly beautiful Aoife was in that stunning dress and how super smart Andy looked in his tux. Aoife and Andy were quite a last minute booking, (like the laid back couple they are!) and I could see from the start that their wedding would be gorgeous. They wanted Abbeywood to shine, and shine it did, they let the beautiful flowers and foliage do the talking and it complimented their style perfectly.

Their chilled approach made their wedding a joy to shoot and I loved spending the day with their friends and family and watching them first tie the knot in the wonderfully light and bright church in Liverpool and then when headed over to the countryside to their reception, which they celebrated at Abbeywood in Delemere, Cheshire.  It was quite the eventful day, starting when bridesmaid Sarah’s dress ripped just as the wedding car arrived. Luckily the very resourceful driver Ste found a needle and thread after knocking on countless doors! What a hero! Aoife even surprised Andy with singing waiters that then prompted a hilarious conga line through the Abbeywood gardens and much napkin waving fun. Singing waiters always seem to really get the party going!

Aoife’s bridesmaids looked amazing in their various muted pastel shades with the same more vibrant tones reflected in the flowers on the tables at Abbeywood. An absolutely beautiful wedding at a beautiful venue, I hope you had a great time in the Lake District and that you can find the time to go on an incredible trip once the pup is a bit bigger. Congratulations guys!
