Why you chose the date of wedding (did it have any meaning?)
I have always loved the idea of a May wedding!
Anything about how you met/proposal story
Dan proposed on our five year anniversary at the spot we had our first date (Lytham St Anne’s) – with Star (the dog)’s help, of course.
Although it didn’t quite go to plan, as a storm cloud covered the sky and we ended up absolutely soaked through! 🙂
So, teeth chattering and our faces stinging from the hail stones, we ran back to the car to take in the moment, (put the heater on), and read the letter that Dan had hidden in Star’s harness.
It was one of the best days of our lives and makes us laugh every time we think about it!

Walking down the aisle, it’s such a surreal moment!
How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day
I came across you on Instagram and instantly knew you would be the one to photograph our special day. We even visited and booked our venue due to your work!
The way you capture all the ‘real’ moments in a persons life and that is exactly what we fell in love with. We aren’t the kind of people who can stand and smile for the camera and you did the most amazing job.
It speaks volumes when the vendors we used were complimenting you, your work and saying just how much they loved to work with you as you are so much more than a photographer.
We felt like we’d known you forever and we could just be our complete – silly – selves around you and I definitely think the pictures say this! We couldn’t stop laughing with you all day and that is exactly what we needed!!

Take a step back on the day and breathe, soak it all in!
Are you going on a honeymoon?
Yes! We are going to Canada to whale watch and spot bears!
It’s been a dream of ours for a long time and going on our honeymoon just makes it feel all the more special.
