Arley Hall Family Shoot // Zech & Mylla

This family shoot was a special one for me as I got to take Zech and Mylla’s mum and dad Felix and Anna back to where they tied the knot, Arley Hall. I’ve always thought Arley Hall is absolutely beautiful, and it was the perfect venue for the kids to run around in the stunning grounds and gardens.

We had a great time jumping in puddles and generally having fun in the great outdoors, climbing trees and walking along walls, we had so much fun playing. Little Mylla was a lockdown baby so this was the first opportunity her family has had to get her in some family pictures, and it was so cute to see how she looked at her older brother Zech.

“It was wonderful to see Jess and take time to start with to let the kids settle and just catch up. Then having had our wedding at Arley with Jess doing the pictures it was easy to just enjoy the space and walk around. The children could be free and enjoy playing, with us just being a family, taking some direction to capture moments but nothing that stopped them being them.”

I love catching up with couples who I’ve photographed getting married and seeing how their families have grown. It was so lovely to meet Zech and Mylla and capture Anna and Felix’s first pictures as a family of four, catching up and reminiscing about their wedding. I can’t wait till next year when we can do it all again.
