Autumn Delamere Shoot // Sofia

Autumn Delamere shoot with Sofia. Doesn’t little Sofia just look adorable in her autumn coloured outfit! Sofia’s mum and dad got in touch with me to capture an amazing milestone in their lives, Sofia learning to walk!

This outdoorsy family wanted to take advantage of the beautiful autumnal tones and hues in Delamere forest where they spend lots of time together and with Sofia just turning one and learning to walk this was the perfect opportunity.

We went to lots of different locations, saw the animals which Sofia loved and wandered round finding the best autumnal light. Delamere forest, set in the heart of Cheshire, is right on my doorstep so I know all the best places to go and where all the best light is. It’s such a popular place that it’s great to have some special spots I can take my families to get the best pictures away from the hustle and bustle. Just relaxed, natural family shots, which is my speciality.

I’m such a fan of all the beautiful colours at this time of year and I’ve loved my mini shoots this season. There’s been something special about slowing down and catching up with all my lovely clients and their families. In the absence of weddings I’ve been able to concentrate on the family side of things and I’ve loved it! I can’t wait to see how Sofia and all the other lovely little ones I’ve photographed grow and maybe next time I see her she’ll be talking!
