Blessing at home on the Wirral. Kate & Malcolm tied the knot (officially) up in Scotland where they live and planned a blessing at Kate’s parents home on the Wirral. I arrived at Kate’s parents home and I was given a very warm welcome by everyone! Kate and her girls got ready and an hour before Malcom and his friends and family arrived. A ceremony at home really gave me a humble feeling and I knew how much it meant to Kate that she was getting the blessing at he childhood home.
An afternoon filled (to the brim!) with their favourite people – the celebrant for the day, Lorraine Hull conducted a beautiful and intimate blessing.

Canapes and drinks in the garden followed by a few formal portraits with the family. The marquee was beautifully decorated with small bird and peony flower details – a vintage and boho twist on the whole day. The speeches commenced and a song from one of the best man really set the mood for the afternoon! It was stunning. The evening brought a Ceilidh – my first ever one and it was amazing!
