I was thrilled to be asked by Charlotte and Anthony to do the photography for their Cheshire wedding at Mere Court in Knutsford this year. It was a very special occasion, the couple have been together since they were 7! Well officially since they were 15 but even so that’s a lifetime of love so you could say this wedding has been a long time coming!
It was a fun filled day, packed with mementos of the couple’s life together including a photo of them sat together at Anthony’s 4th birthday party dressed as a Power Ranger and Snow White (I’ll let you figure out who was who!)
As a Cheshire photographer I love it when the venues are as great as Mere Court, lots of outside space means there’s plenty of places for group shots and couples’ portraits and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Guests can relax and I can get those shots I love best, the ones of people having fun, the ones that show people in love and the ones that show what a brilliant day the couple have organised for their friends and family.
Charlotte looked stunning in an elegant dress complimented by a trailing bouquet of violet roses and lilies which matched her bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly. They had a cake made of cheese as well as a 5-tiered wedding cake which they cut before blowing up the dance floor with an unconventional first dance song of Beyonce and Jay Z – ‘Young Forever’, swiftly followed by more Beyonce and Florence and the Machine with Dizzee Rascall. It’s safe to say people were dancing all night!
Charlotte and Anthony found me after I’d taken pictures for Anthony’s family of their dogs so if you’re looking for any Cheshire Photography (not just weddings!), get in touch. I love working all over Cheshire and photography is my passion!
