Cheshire Wedding Photo // Alex & Dave
Cheshire wedding photo with photographer Jess Yarwood. Alexandra and Dave had an amazing Cheshire wedding day at the Pulford Grosvenor, Chester in May. Their day was so full of laughter and love, Alex said it was ‘Sparkly, Personal, Lovely’! It really was all those things and more, surrounded by their brilliant family and friends! I caught up with them over email after the big day and Alex made me very jealous by mentioning they were currently on honeymoon…. on a beach…. in Barbados!
That time you get together just as a couple after the whirlwind of your wedding day is a perfect moment in time. Reminiscing in the days after or while on your honeymoon, about your wedding, about all the things people said and did and just connecting the stories up. Then of course you get your photos and then all those memories come to life again and are captured forever, so it is pretty important you get a photographer that really suits you!
Alex and Dave found me via my website when looking for a Cheshire wedding photographer and loved the natural style of my photography. I do really love to capture that natural feel in all my work, it reflects my couples so well and encapsulates the professional but relaxed approach I adopt;
I found your website by searching online. We loved your natural style and just wanted to say thank you so much for making us feel at ease. We are really looking forward to seeing the pictures.
Alexandra and Dave had been together for over ten years before setting the date for their Cheshire wedding;
Dave followed me round for weeks and weeks asking me to go on a date with him, I finally gave him a chance when I heard a rumour that he fancied somebody else and I got jealous! That’s when I knew I liked him too 🙂 He proposed in the kitchen while making me dinner. We chose the date of our wedding, simply as it was about 18 months away and that gave us time to plan!
I LOVE anything shiny. I couldn’t choose a colour and always lean towards silver, gold, rose gold…so we decided that would be the theme! The bridesmaid dresses were grey and everything else fell into place.
All of the day was memorable. Dave and my dad managed to trip over my dress at some point which was rather funny! The caricature pictures had people laughing! Oh and the first dance was hilarious. Dave broke out the granddad moves!
As the evening celebrations started, Alex and Dave took to the floor with one of the best first dance songs ever, ‘You and Me’ by the Wannadies.
I really loved their Cheshire wedding day, thank you so much for choosing me to be part of your celebrations!
with love
