Opening in 2021, Foxtail Barns has quickly established itself as one of Staffordshire’s best wedding venues. It’s owned and run by the fab Best Day Ever team (who also look after great venues like The Ashes and Mill Barns) so you know you’ll be well looked after there!

Why you chose the date of wedding (did it have any meaning?)

We got married on our 6 year anniversary

Anything about how you met/proposal story

Met through a mutual friend at age 16 and 17.
Jack- “The first time I laid eyes on Beth she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen, and I wanted nothing more than to go and speak to her. My gut instincts were right and now she is my one and only person.”Beth- “6 years with my best friend. People go a lifetime without meeting a love like this and I am so lucky to of met my perfect match. We’ve grown together and will continue to do so forever”

Your inspiration/style/aspirations for the day

Family is so important to us and we wanted nothing more than to celebrate all the love around us as well as ours.

Memorable/emotional/funny moment on the day

Me and my Dad’s unplanned dance to Wonderwall then to be joined by Jack and my mum. Completely in the moment, beautiful, emotional and oblivious to everything going on around us.

Reading our personal letters in the morning before getting married. So special and something to treasure forever.

Mine and Jack’s private moment talking outside- intimate, romantic and gave us a chance to soak it all in.

How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day

We found you on Instagram. Instantly fell in love with your style of capturing moments so romantically. True talent in making us feel so relaxed, allowing us to just be natural and in love with each other as if no one was watching.

Any advice for couples planning their wedding?

Enjoy every moment and eachother. Don’t stress the little details and remember no matter the weather on the day- it WILL be gorgeous. It’s about you and your partner, no one else.

Are you going on a honeymoon?

We are enjoying our romantic mini-moon in beautiful Wales in our secluded lodge. Looking forward to our once in a lifetime Honeymoon in the Maldives later this year.

I wish I could thank you a million times over. No words will be able to express how thankful we are to You, Chris and Lou- a perfect team. Went above and beyond for us and a true part of the day. Thank you thank you thank you!!! xxx

We opted for the additional highlight film package and a second shooter, oh we are so glad we did!
