Why you chose the date of wedding (did it have any meaning?)
We wanted a summer wedding and it’s a few days before Matt’s Birthday and a few weeks after Seans. It also was around 5 years after our first date. It also was the driest weekend statistically speaking (yes, we googled it!)

Anything about how you met/proposal story

We both met around 5 years ago via the wonderful world of Tinder. We had our first date on a whim and didn’t really expect much from it – it ended up being a good date. We then went on a date each night for the following week and it was all a bit of a whirlwind – here we are 5 years later.

Sean proposed to me 3 years after we met. He had come home from work and started to down a few glasses of wine – clearly something was up, and that something was the nerves!

Your inspiration/style/aspirations for the day

We wanted a relaxed wedding. We don’t really like a lot of fuss or attention and we tried to make it so that we weren’t! We missed quite a few traditional wedding things such as a best man and bridesmaids as we felt this made it less friendly to those not picked. We just wanted everyone to have fun and be able to let their hair down.

Memorable/emotional/funny moment on the day

Walking/dancing down the aisle to I do, I do I do by Abba with our mums.

How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day

We didn’t have any recommendations so we had a look on the internet. We stumbled on your website and really liked your relaxed approach to things as we didn’t want posey pictures (people may disagree looking at our pictures!). After a quick chat we knew you would be perfect for the day.

Any advice for couples planning their wedding?

Try not to get too stressed and try to enjoy every moment of your day as it’ll be over in a flash!

Are you going on a honeymoon?

We are having a rescheduled post-pandemic trip to Spain with our friends in a month so that’s sort of a honeymoon. We’ve not given much thought to a honeymoon with all the wedding preparations – maybe we’ll book something when we both get post wedding-blues as a little pick-me-up!

Anything else….

We both want to give a massive thankyou to Jess. You made the day so relaxed and we enjoyed it so much. We were a bit worried about the couple pictures but honestly was really fun. Thanks again, we had such a lovely day.
REVIEW
“Great photographer and really made us feel relaxed and enjoy our day. Jess fit right in on the day, she made everyone feel comfortable having their picture taken and went above and beyond when some extra pictures were requested by the mums! We’d definitely recommend Jess for any event!”
