It was our 15th anniversary

Met 15 years ago through mutual friends and then got engaged on a surprise trip to Venice in 2018 , booked our wedding for Mexico 2020 then 21 then 22 due to covid

Your inspiration/style/aspirations for the day

Having got married in Mexico we had a shell theme for our UK evening reception , shells on the cake, tables and other little bits .

Being Congratulated as Mr and Mrs Douglas by the DJ after our first dance

How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day

Already knew Jess as a friend and knew she has amazing talents

Wedding song?

Alexis donn ‘forever and always’ ( aisle song) then first dance song was ‘if you love her’ by forest blakk and Meghan trainer

Are you going on a honeymoon?

Mexico was a wedding and honeymoon in 1 for us with everyone else, but for Danny’s birthday in July I booked us a trip to Ibiza for a more relaxed honeymoon just the two of us

Jess was amazing, we both don’t particularly like having our photos taken, especially in such a big moment of our lives. Jess made us so comfortable having the photos and made us laugh all night! She had amazing ideas for the photos such as having sparklers and going up onto the golf green for special pictures of the venue. She was so patient when we were getting people together for photos and was always in the right place at the right time to capture all the special moments of the night

having sent us a couple of previews we are already over the moon and can’t wait to see all the photos
