Iscoyd Park // Helen & Richard
Iscoyd Park is a private country wedding venue touching the border of North Wales, Shropshire & Cheshire. A rich and varied history, Iscoyd as it is seen today was built in 1737, though some parts date back to 1700. Iscoyd Park has been in the Godsal family since 1843, Phil and Susie Godsal took over the running of the house from Phil’s father (also called Philip!) in 2009 and began a much needed restoration project. They live in the house today with their three children and run it both as a wedding and events venue and a family home.
Helen & Richard said ‘We love stately homes, British country tradition, elegance and charm but we wanted a cool modern relaxed fun vibe with lots of rich warm colours’ ” The wedding flowers for the bridal party and groomsmen plus decorating the house was supplied by Rustic Bloom and featured a scheme fitting of a fine country estate wedding in late autumn. Colour scheme orange, green, reds, pinks, burgundy, cherry, we also had feathers in the bouquets and table decorations which looked absolutely stunning’
REVIEW
From the initial introduction to Jess’s work ethic and style we knew we had to have Jess as our photographer. Jess’s style is relaxed but very intuitive to the vibe and feel of how we wanted the day captured.
A knowing and confident photographer who is in synch with our vision is what we found and enjoyed with Jess.
