Liverpool Wedding Photographer // Sally & Adam

I love a Liverpool wedding, the city is so full of history and majestic, almost regal old buildings that are totally decadent.  In October I headed into the city to capture the lovely wedding of Sally and Adam who chose one of those amazing buildings, 30 James Street, home of the Titanic as their stunning Liverpool wedding venue. It’s beautiful and Sally and Adam created the loveliest day there.

They decided to marry in October as it’s always been Sally’s favourite month of the year, their first date was in October and it’s her birthday month too. Sally and Adam’s family friend Chris found my work and recommended me to them.  They liked that my photography focuses on more natural and real shots, rather than formal staged poses and their family and friend were totally fantastic to photograph, a really friendly gathering.

Sally and Adam have been in each other lives since they were young, Adam is Sally’s best friend’s cousin.

I grew up with his family as my family too. I believe we were meant to be.

So lovely! They wanted a magical, pretty and romantic feel to their Liverpool wedding day and when they visited 30 James Street, they fell in love with it instantly! It was perfect. They took the venues style as the main inspiration and influence for the styling of their day and it was beautiful.

Everything we chose for the day went well with the venue from the flowers to the bridesmaid dresses, all were the same colour as the building decor.

I asked Sally on reflection what her favourite moments from the day were and I quote  “Adam blubbering when I walked down the aisle haha”.

Also the best man’s cheeky speech which was an a cappella version of ‘no diggity’ (and amazing!); Adams speech, especially the part to his dad which had everyone in tears, her brother Craig being the best toast master…..

….And my very drunk 81 year old nan who got escorted off the dance floor!

Her nan is the best! You know its a good wedding when everyone is on the dance floor! It’s always an honour to capture these moments for my couples, these are the ones that mean the most and stay with you long after the day has passed and the images are a precious keepsake from that moment.

After the wedding day they headed off on a mini-moon to Berlin and are hoping to go on a big holiday later on in the year as they are expecting their first baba in March!!! So lovely!

We would just like to say thank you. We felt really relaxed around you and we can’t wait to see our pictures.

Thank you so much for choosing me Sally and Ada, wishing you much love for your future together. If you are having a Liverpool wedding too and think we’d be a perfect match, I’d love to hear from you,

love Jess x
