Nunsmere Hall // Shelley & Matt
Nunsmere Hall is a luxury country house wedding venue in the heart of Cheshire. Shelley & Matt married in the house and then made use of the gorgeous gardens for their drinks reception. The new marquee hosted their wedding breakfast and dancing in the evening.
The grounds of Nunsmere Hall were perfect for some family shots and some amazing couples portraits down the tree lined avenues and it gave Shelley & Matt the chance to escape for a few minutes and enjoy some time alone for the first time as a married couple. We also took the couple for portraits down to the lake, such a perfect backdrop.

Why you chose the date of wedding (did it have any meaning)
We went with that date as it was the closest Saturday to our original wedding date
Anything about how you met/proposal story
We we’re in Florida celebrating Matt’s 30th birthday and I was totally unaware that Matt was going to propose. We had gone to Clearwater for the day and had a day of sunbathing and food on the beach. We then went for a walk along pier 60 just before the sun was about to set for the day and then we spotted some bottle nose dolphins swimming around the pier and that’s when Matt proposed.
Your inspiration/style/aspirations for the day
For everyone to have a fabulous time and forget about Covid.
Memorable/emotional/funny moment on the day
Seeing my dad stood at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me. When Matt thought it was a good idea to give me a piggy back.
How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day
I went to school with you and you shot my oldest friends wedding and I just loved your style.
Are you going on honeymoon
Hopefully when the world allows us to travel unrestricted.
