Oak Tree of Peover Wedding Photography //Kim & Robbie
Kim and Robbie’s day was such an amazing wedding to photograph, they are lovely and their families were wonderful too. I was in love with all the rustic details and the setting, the Oak Tree Peover, is just stunning! We started off at Kim’s, getting ready with the whole bridal party. It was a whirlwind of flowers, hair and make up prep, a drop of bubbly, matching floral dressing gowns, excited flower girls and just a wonderful buzz of excitement and wedding activity. It is one of my favourite parts of any wedding day, just the anticipation of finally everything coming together.
“I found Jess on google and went onto the website and Jess’s pictures were simple and natural, just what I like and what we wanted for our day at Oak Tree Peover.”
Kim and Robbie chose me for my laid back style and also decided to invest in my second shooter on the day. While I was with Kim getting ready, they were able to capture Robbie and the guest’s waiting at the church. A different view of the day unfolding and lovely for Kim to see that and for Robbie to look back on.
Kim and Robbie were married this May at St Michael’s and All Angels Church which is a beautiful building with celebrations to follow at the gorgeous oak beamed Oak Tree Peover.
“We chose May as I just love spring, it’s my favourite time of year. It was an amazing day, perfect, incredible! I love the rustic look, there wasn’t really a theme though, just if we wanted something we would try our best to make it work! We were really happy with everything, the day was just perfect.”
The couple had planned some really lovely details on the day to suit their rustic style celebrations like the stunning flowers and tiered naked cake. They had a Horse Box Photo Booth which is something I’ve never seen before and I was in love with the two soft top land rovers, complete with blankets and little painted step ladders to get in and out of the wedding transport.
“One of the best parts of the day for me was throwing my bouquet, that was great fun and such a laugh.”
I love the bouquet throw too and with my second shooter we were able to capture the moment from different angles. Like many moments on a wedding day they are one time moments, one chance to get that shot and to be able to capture that from different perspectives is really rewarding as a photographer. I love being able to create that for my couples.
Congratulations and thanks so much to Kim and Robbie for choosing me to photograph their elegantly rustic wedding at the Oak Tree Peover, I hope you enjoy your images,
with love
