Portmeirion Village // Angharad & Edin

In July I shot the gorgeous wedding of Angharad & Edin at Portmeirion, a beautiufl little Welsh Italian town. Portmeirion is a really unique venue, quite unlike anything else in the UK. If you are looking for a venue totally oozing with history it’s the perfect setting. A stunning backdrop for your wedding day.

It’s really atmospheric and in the woodland that surrounds the village is just perfect for portraits! The couple had chosen gorgeous green & golds (my favourite colours!) and this really stood out with the details.

I didn’t meet with the couple before the big day because they are in London and I’m up in the North West so we managed to skype. We talked through the planning of the day and I could just tell that the couple wanted a relaxed and fun day surrounded by loved ones, totally my style!

Angharad & Edin both got ready in the village and I managed to walk between prep (with a bit of planning) to capture them both.

Angharad & Edin exchanged their personalised vows in the Great Hall at Portmeirion. Greeted by a shower of confetti and family portraits in the tiny village we all the headed down to the main hotel for documentary images. They M.C was amazing and on hand with anything I needed, he really helped to co-ordinate the day.

Delyth, the wedding co-ordinator at the venue really takes pride in all of her weddings and I have worked with her lots of times, Portmeirion is one of my favourite Welsh venues.

After speeches and the meal, all of the guests were given a train ride and tour.

It was an amazing day and I was so happy to be their photographer. Congratulations to Angharad & Edin, thanks for choosing me for your Welsh wedding.

with love
