Queens Park Photographer // Josie, Luke & Violet

I met Josie, Luke, and their daughter Violet at Queen’s Park in Crewe for a family photoshoot. It was a special reunion, as I had the privilege of capturing their wedding a few years ago. Seeing them again, now as a family of three, was truly heartwarming.

Queen’s Park provided the perfect setting—lush greenery, winding paths, and beautiful open spaces that made for a relaxed and natural shoot. From the moment we started, Violet was full of energy and completely in her element. She adored being in front of the camera, twirling, laughing, and soaking up every moment of attention. It’s always a joy to work with children who are so uninhibited and playful, and Violet was no exception.

Josie and Luke were just as wonderful as I remembered—warm, easy going, and so clearly devoted to their little girl. Watching them interact, whether it was Luke swinging Violet in the air or Josie wrapping her in a tight hug, was a reminder of why I love capturing these moments. There’s something so special about seeing a couple whose love you once documented on their wedding day now growing into their roles as parents.

We wandered through the park, stopping for candid shots and a few posed ones, but mostly just letting them be themselves. That’s always where the magic happens—real laughter, real love, and real moments.

As the session wrapped up, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. Being invited back into people’s lives to document their milestones is such a privilege. Seeing Josie, Luke, and Violet so happy together made this shoot one to remember. I already can’t wait for the next time!
