Room One Hartford Golf Club // Heath & Dani

Dani and Heath are local to me which is how they found me when covid decided to throw a spanner in the works for their wedding day. They were supposed to get married in May with a friend shooting their wedding but Covid put a stop to that so they rallied around and rescheduled for September and as luck would have it I was free! It was a real local affair with the beautifully modern Room One Hartford Golf Club dressed by the brilliant Flossie’s and we had a great time even though they’d had to reduce their guests to 30. Dani looked beautiful and they both looked so happy to be getting married despite what was going on in the world, surrounded by their 30 nearest and dearest.

We had great fun going off for couple’s portraits on the golf buggies and that Cheshire countryside around Hartford Golf Club didn’t let us down. As a relatively new wedding venue it was a great setting and Dani and Heath were able to get married outside despite the wind threatening to blow away Dani’s veil!

They’d booked my wedding highlight film package so I was there with my own trusty husband Chris who captured their most precious moments on film so they could share it with the guest’s that couldn’t be there.

It was such an emotional day made all the more special because of how much these two wanted to get married and I’m so glad I was able to be there to capture it for them.

Covid has ruined and continues to ruin people’s wedding days, but not for us, although It was a difficult decision to marry throughout a pandemic, it’s been the best one we’ve made. If it wasn’t for covid, we would never have been able to book you, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart Jess, your work is stunning, and you are an amazing person who’s attention to detail is out of this world.

Chris captured a moment of me and my stepmum dancing, who I explained at the beginning is in very ill health, but I can look back at the video and cherish that moment, because my god it was a beautiful one.”
