Slice of Life Marbury Shoot // Benjamin

Benjamin and his Slice of Life shoot at Marbury Park in Cheshire. “Jess really put us at ease and engaged with our son, bringing out his sense of fun, inquisitiveness and cheekiness. Over the hour he never once looked bored or unhappy and we’ve got some brilliant images from the shoot that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.”

I LOVE getting feedback like that from the families I photograph, so I was thrilled when John and Sarah sent this lovely review from their autumn family photography shoot with their little boy Benjamin in Marbury park, Cheshire. Marbury is perfect for family photography, there are so many lovely settings within the park and lots of space for little ones (and pups) to run around and burn some energy.

John and Sarah picked the slice of life package which is a 1 hour long shoot in a beautiful location and includes your whole gallery. It was important to Sarah and John that they received all of their pictures to tell the true story of their little family so this was a great option for them.

Spending the time with families, getting to know their dynamics and capturing their little quirks and characteristics is my favourite part of the shoots and Benjamin was happy to play along! He even started copying me at one point which his mum and dad thought was hilarious and made for some lovely laughing shots. I aim to make you as relaxed as possible during your shoot and it was no different with this family, wandering through the trees and playing games we had such a fun time.
