The Old Doghouse Barn // Charlotte & Phil
Charlotte and Phil were really lucky in that they managed to have the wedding of their dreams despite the pandemic. Everything that they planned was able to go ahead the only slight hitch being that the restrictions meant that Charlotte’s sister couldn’t come over from Australia. All wasn’t lost however as Phil had an ace up his sleeve for Charlotte. A special recorded message that was played out in the speeches from her sister over in Australia.
The couple who married at St Mary’s church in Sandbach were keen to do all the normal wedding traditions despite the pandemic so we did an epic confetti throw outside the church. They arrived at The Old Doghouse Barn which is part of the Three Greyhounds pub for their reception in a vintage Bentley which looked so elegant against the beautifully rustic venue in Allostock near Knutsford. There was plenty of room inside for Charlotte and Phil’s friends and family to celebrate their union and I loved the dried flower garlands that adorned the brick arches and exposed beams.
I loved the look of Charlotte and Phills reception, simple and elegant place settings and great food made it a lovely day. They had an amazing cheese wedding cake with knitted mice as a cake topper and personalised bottles of “Big Philly’s Chillies” chipotle ketchup. Outside was a lovely ivy covered wall which we used to get some bridesmaids shots, it’s a venue I’ve not been to before and I really liked it!
If you’re planning on getting married at The Old Doghouse Barn at The Three Greyhounds in Cheshire get in touch. I’d love to go back.
