Describe your wedding in three words

Actually quite fun!

Why you chose the date of wedding (did it have any meaning)

We really hoped covid would be over by November 2021 – couldn’t have been more wrong!

Anything about how you met/proposal story

We met at work and one day Steph asked Bertie to join team drinks…somehow Bertie took this as being asked on a date and the rest is history!

Your inspiration/style/aspirations for the day

A relaxed wedding with closest friends and family. Decor was rustic and had a nice cosy feel with it being a cold November day.

Memorable/emotional/funny moment on the day

It was a very cold but crisp November day so when we were having our photos taken the Bridesmaids ran for warmth leaving the best man and Usher to help with carrying Steph’s dress and picking out all the leaves I was sweeping off the floor…the council will love us!

Our band was also incredible, we just had so much fun dancing the night away and couldn’t even tear ourselves off the dance floor to go to the bar which is rare for us! So much happiness.

How did you discover me and why you chose me to photograph the day

We initially found you via a Google search of local photographers and really wanted to book you as loved the style of photography and your relaxed, real style to capture the day. We are a couple who feel awkward being photographed and you made us feel so relaxed and captured the magic of the day.

Are you going on honeymoon

Yes! We’ve just come back from a beautiful snowy weekend in the Lake District and also hoping to go to the South of France in June (fingers crossed).
